Many restaurants are beloved by their loyal customers. Their brand name is something that we tend to love and expect. However, we were shocked this week upon hearing that a popular eatery chain had changed its name. The International House of Pancakes, commonly known as IHOP, suddenly changed its name to IHOB. Many speculations began to swarm trying to decipher what the B in the name meant, many believing it was for breakfast. To the surprise of many, it actually stood for Burgers as the chain seemed to want to focus on them now. Of course, the internet was quick to meme the situation, and many other restaurants’ Twitter pages joined in the fun, roasting and poking fun at the change.
